Pipework and leak repairs

Burst pipes, leaks at the meter and old supply lines replaced with new copper. Across Polokwane and surrounds.

Neat copper water lines run along a brick wall

Water where it should not be gets fixed fast.

A leak wastes water and money every hour it runs, and a burst pipe can damage floors, walls and ceilings in minutes. We trace the leak to its source, cut out the damaged section and make the line sound again, then test it before we close up.

Leaks at the water meter and on the supply line in the yard are common in older Polokwane properties. We dig open, replace the failed fittings or section of pipe, and reconnect with new valves.

Where old galvanised or patched pipework keeps failing, re-running the supply in copper is often the better long-term fix. We run new hot and cold lines neatly along the walls, clipped level, with isolation valves where you need them.

Burst pipe right now? Close the main stopcock, switch off the geyser at the distribution board and call us on 082 396 9832. Read our burst pipe checklist for the first ten minutes.

Frequently asked questions

Do you guarantee your work?

Yes. All our labour carries a 6-month guarantee. Materials and parts carry their own guarantees, which differ per product and supplier, so ask us about the guarantee on the materials used in your job.

I have a burst pipe. What should I do first?

Close the main stopcock, switch off the geyser at the distribution board, and keep water away from plug points and lights. Then call us on 082 396 9832.

My water bill suddenly went up. Could I have a leak?

Possibly. Close every tap in the house and look at the water meter. If the dial still moves, water is escaping somewhere. Call us and we will trace the leak.

Why replace old pipes with copper?

Old galvanised pipes corrode from the inside, which causes leaks and poor pressure. Copper lasts for decades, and when it is run neatly along the walls with proper clips and isolation valves it is easy to service later.
