Geyser installation and repair

Electric and solar geysers installed, replaced and repaired across Polokwane and the surrounding areas.

Solar geyser with evacuated tubes on a tiled roof

No hot water? We will find out why.

A geyser that stops heating, drips from the overflow or leaks through the ceiling needs attention quickly. We find the cause first. Often it is a single part, like the element, thermostat or a valve, and the geyser can be repaired rather than replaced.

When a cylinder has failed or is past its life, we replace it with a new geyser installed properly: drip tray, vacuum breakers, pressure control valve and neat copper pipework, in the roof, on the wall or under the counter.

We also install solar geysers for homes that want to cut down on electricity for hot water.

Burst geyser? Switch it off at the distribution board, close the water supply and call us on 082 396 9832.

Frequently asked questions

Do you guarantee your work?

Yes. All our labour carries a 6-month guarantee. Materials and parts carry their own guarantees, which differ per product and supplier, so ask us about the guarantee on the materials used in your job.

My geyser has burst. What should I do?

Switch the geyser off at the distribution board, close the cold water supply to the geyser or the main stopcock, and call us on 082 396 9832.

Can my geyser be repaired, or does it need replacing?

Often it can be repaired. Elements, thermostats, pressure valves and vacuum breakers can all be replaced on their own. If the cylinder itself is leaking or badly corroded, it cannot be repaired and the geyser needs to be replaced.

Why is water dripping from the overflow pipe on my roof?

A steady drip from the overflow usually means the pressure control valve or the thermostat is faulty. A constant stream is more urgent. Either way, have it checked before it turns into a burst geyser.

Do you install solar geysers?

Yes. We install solar geysers, including evacuated tube systems, and connect them to the existing plumbing in the house.

Which areas do you cover?

Polokwane and the surrounding areas, including Polokwane Central, Bendor, Flora Park, Fauna Park, Annadale, Ster Park and Ivy Park. If you are not sure whether you fall inside our area, call and ask.
